RMS: Winter storm losses to fall beneath top-end estimates

RMS has said it expects insured losses from the Texas Big Freeze will fall below top-end estimates of $18bn-$20bn that have been circulated for the disaster.

However, the modelling agency is not yet publicly putting a figure on the cost of the event, which it believes will be the most expensive winter storm to hit the US.
