BRP Group to buy digital intermediary Founder Shield

BRP Group is buying FounderShield, a digital broker and managing general agency (MGA) business, the Nasdaq-listed broker said on Friday.

The group operates Founder Shield, a technology and start-up focused broker, as well as Cannabis market-focused AlphaRoot, real estate broker Reshield, and program business Scale Underwriting Services, which focuses on management liability and professional lines coverages.
