Nevada-based workers’ comp specialist Employers Holdings said it grew gross written premiums by 5% in the second quarter, marking the early stages of an economic recovery after four straight quarters in which the top line declined by double digits.
On Thursday, the monoline carrier said adjusted net income fell in the quarter to $11mn from $26mn a year ago.
