Howden Specialty has bolstered its presence in the Latin American (re)insurance market, hiring Gerardo Jacobo and Nestor Rodriguez, both of whom worked at independent broker Risk Specialists.

Jacobo founded Risk Specialists in 2019 and served as CEO, while Rodriguez worked as the business’s technical director. The pair previously worked together at Interproteccion, where Jacobo was a director of financial lines.
