Homeowners' MGA Hippo became the latest InsurTech to enter the public markets through a special purpose acquisition company merger – and according to the company’s president, Hippo likens itself to an NBA draft pick who has raised its profile and earned a big check on the hope of future promise, but now needs to execute.
