Progressive expects $510mn of catastrophe losses associated with Hurricane Ida, the company said on Friday.

The Mayfield, Ohio-based carrier booked $341.9mn in cat losses, adding 9.7 loss ratio points, which helped push its loss ratio in its property business to 197.4%
