FMH hits $1bn in crop insurance premiums

Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) reached $1bn in premiums in 2021, the Iowa-based carrier announced.

The insurance company achieved this milestone for the first time in its 128-history in July, the company said.

FMH first came close to writing $1bn in premiums a few years ago, with the acquisition of John Deere Insurance Company (JDIC).
