Alliant Insurance joined Rick Ulmer in the legal battle against McGriff by filing a motion asking Judge K Michael Moore to dismiss McGriff’s counterclaim in a case that attempts to block its former CEO from taking up a new position at Alliant Underwriting Solutions (AUS).

In the motion, Alliant claims that McGriff hasn't alleged that Ulmer’s new position at Alliant is identical or similar to his previous role at McGriff.
