State Auto Financial Corporation said on Thursday it will appoint Kim Garland as president, following the completion of Liberty Mutual’s acquisition of the company, which is expected to close in 2022.

Garland currently serves as senior vice president of personal and commercial lines and managing director of State Auto Labs, State Auto’s venture capital fund.
