Fairfax Financial Holdings has appointed Peter Clarke as president of Fairfax, having previously held, over the past 20 years, the positions of vice president, COO, chief risk officer and chief actuary.

He is also a member of Fairfax’s executive and investment committees, and he will continue in his role as COO.
