AIG’s life and retirement (L&R) unit has filed paperwork for an initial public offering.

The unit, SAFG Retirement Services, which will be rebranded as Corebridge Financial following the IPO, reported in a S-1 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) total 2021 premiums of $5.6bn
