Hard market conditions in the Southeast property market continue to be a significant challenge as the number of admitted carriers shrink and those that remain offer lower levels of coverage, RLI management has said.

RLI achieved a 24% rate increase on hurricane exposure in the quarter, even as it tightened terms and conditions, COO Jennifer Klobnak said during the carrier’s Q2 earnings call.
