ABIR appoints Hamilton’s Albo as chair, succeeding Arch’s Grandisson

The Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR) has elected Pina Albo as chair for a two-year term, effective January 1.

Albo is the first woman appointed to the organization’s chairmanship in its 30-year history.

The executive, who serves as CEO of Hamilton Insurance, has succeeded Arch CEO Marc Grandisson.
