WTW is improving its client retention and its attraction following a challenging period for the business while it was involved in an attempted takeover by Aon, CEO Carl Hess said.

The executive said that the broker stopped receiving requests for proposals whilst it was set to be acquired by Aon, but that new clients were requesting pitches from the broker in Q4 now it was “back in the marketplace”.
