Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (The Big “I”) president and CEO Bob Rusbuldt will relinquish his operational duties in advance of his retirement in September, the association announced on Thursday.

The organization also issued an apology over the executive’s remarks during an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters at the Big “I” Legislative Conference in April.
