Hamilton Insurance Group reported a net loss of $29.9mn in 2022 compared with profits of $250mn in 2021, as the carrier experienced a large downturn in investment income.

Net investment income was $64.9mn during 2022 compared with a figure of $309mn during 2021, a reduction of 79%.
