Fast-growing BMS Group has acquired Brazilian reinsurance intermediary KNW Brokers, as the UK brokerage continues with its international expansion strategy.
It is the fourth acquisition BMS Re has sealed in the last two years following the takeovers of Mexican intermediary PWS, a reinsurance broker; Calomex, a Mexico City-based surety specialist; and Trean, a property cat specialist.
