Medical inflation creeping into workers’ comp claims costs: ProAssurance CEO Rand

ProAssurance CEO Ned Rand said that medical inflation is working “its way into claims costs” in workers’ compensation.

On a call with analysts, workers’ comp president Kevin Shook added that the carrier has been “cautious in releasing prior year reserves” as inflation works through the book on policies written later in 2022 and into 2023.
