Hawaii losses still hard to assess, might be concentrated on residential

The insurance industry is still in the early stages of assessing losses from devastating Hawaiian wildfires, with some pointing out that the situation from an insured loss perspective could be worse, especially for the commercial market.  

Fires haven’t progressed to the north or south coasts of the island yet, where a number of high-end hotels are located, some sources said, although depending on fire direction they still could.
