California-based Alliant Insurance has hired former Lockton executives Scott Canales, Richard Roderick, Greg Barnes and Mark Racunas for its Los Angeles operations. Subsequently, Roderick, Barnes and Racunas have become the targets of a lawsuit filed by their former employer.

Canales, who is not named in the suit, Roderick, and Barnes all join the company as executive vice presidents of Alliant Specialty.
