White Mountains has launched a new investment business, White Mountain Partners (WM Partners) and appointed John Daly, former founding member and principal of Alleghany Capital, as CEO and managing partner.

The wholly-owned subsidiary will provide first institutional capital to family, founder and entrepreneur-owned businesses in essential services, light industrial and specialty consumer sectors.
