Hurricane Otis is said to have damaged property and vehicles in Mexico’s Guerrero State, after the storm made landfall as a Category 5 storm near the resort town of Acapulco in the early hours of 25 October.

Early news reports have been slow to emerge from the area, as many were left without power or communication access, although there has been no loss of life reported yet.
