WTW has given an executive search firm a mandate to map available reinsurance broking leadership talent as the company steps up exploratory work for a reinsurance launch, this publication can reveal.

Sources said the mapping exercise relates to London market specialty reinsurance broking and the US P&C market, suggesting these areas to be likely early focal points if WTW chooses to relaunch in reinsurance after 1 December.
