AJ Gallagher continued its recent string of banking deals with the takeover of The Evans Agency from Evans Bancorp for $40mn.

The transaction follows the acquisition of Candence Insurance for over $900mn and Eastern Insurance for $510mn, both insurance agency operations of eponymous regional banks.
