Greenlight Re CEO Simon Burton said the carrier will set up a new vehicle in Q1 2024 to enable the InsurTechs in its portfolio to retain “more of their own risk.”

On a call with analysts, the executive said: “We intend to establish a separately licensed segregated portfolio company, which will provide access to our InsurTech partners.”
