Everest Re has established a global specialties business led by newly appointed head of global specialties Phil Taylor.

The business will bring together aviation, marine, cyber, engineering and parametric solutions, the carrier said Tuesday. Taylor will report to Jill Beggs, head of North America and global specialty reinsurance.
