California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara has ordered insurers to give policyholders premium rebates in May, extending a Covid-19-related scheme initially established for March and April.
Lara also extended a 60-day grace period for customers struggling to pay premiums by another 60 days, through to 14 July.
