Hiscox looking to grow ‘very strongly’ in the US market: Markham

Hiscox is looking to “very strongly” grow its US excess and surplus lines (E&S) business in the coming years, Hiscox London Market CEO Kate Markham told an online event hosted by Lloyd’s on Tuesday.

She said the company’s private flood product, along with coverholder-bound homeowners and commercial property, were all areas where digital underwriting would help the carrier more efficiently distribute cover.
