Hiscox looking to grow ‘very strongly’ in the US market: Markham

Hiscox is looking to “very strongly” grow its US excess and surplus lines (E&S) business in the coming years, Hiscox London Market CEO Kate Markham said at an online event hosted by Lloyd’s on Tuesday.

She said the company’s private flood product, along with coverholder-bound homeowners and commercial property, were all areas where digital underwriting would help the carrier more efficiently distribute cover.
