Marsh’s retail agency business has acquired Montana-based PayneWest Insurance, in a deal that expands the broking giant’s presence in the northwestern US.

PayneWest will operate as the northwest hub of Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA), with the broker’s CEO Kyle Lingscheit taking over leadership of the region.
