Unicorn-valued property software company Porch has closed its $100mn acquisition of Homeowners of America (HOA), a Texan personal lines insurer, from investors including IA Capital.

In an interview with Inside P&C, CEO Matt Ehrlichman said the deal would enable Porch to provide access to insurance products for users of its home inspection software.
