Wholesale brokerage RT Specialty has appointed veteran transportation underwriting executive Dennis Hathaway to head of its national transportation practice.

In addition, Hathaway will lead Ryan Specialty Group’s (RSG) commercial transport program Interstate Insurance Management following Interstate CEO Jack Buchan’s June retirement.
