Inland marine market loss ratio worsened by 16 points during 2020: AM Best

The loss ratio for the US inland marine insurance market deteriorated by 16 points to 64.7% during 2020, according to AM Best.

In market sector report on Thursday, the ratings agency said the line of business was among the hardest hit by Covid-19 as contingency losses from cancelled events surged.
