Retail broker BroadStreet Partners has elevated company president Ken Kirk to the role of CEO, with founder and current CEO Rick Miley stepping up to be executive chairman.

BroadStreet said the move was the culmination of a long-term succession plan – Kirk is a seasoned broking executive having sold a regional broker to Brown & Brown in the mid-1990s, becoming regional president.
