Neptune Flood lines up fresh capacity from Transverse amid upswing in demand

Neptune Flood Insurance has expanded its premium capacity by $30mn, using paper from fronting insurer Transverse Insurance Group that will help the InsurTech meet “surging demand” for a private alternative to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

The fresh capacity follows a 50% jump in the amount of firepower available to Neptune at Lloyd’s, having a secured a significant increase in its existing program with Axa XL.
