AJ Gallagher grew organically by 5.3% in the first quarter, ahead of the 3.3% growth it generated last year just before the pandemic, and its best growth rate since the fourth quarter of 2019.

On Thursday evening, the broker reported $2.02 on adjusted earnings per share, better than the $1.84 analyst estimate, and well above the $1.83
