USI has bought the insurance arm of Northwest Bank, expanding its presence in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio and Indiana.

The transaction follows the acquisition of two regional agency businesses by USI earlier this year, with the company taking over Colorado-based CB Insurance and Washington state-headquartered Inland Insurance.
