Rate increases slow to 10% in Q1, as cyber pricing surges by 18%: CIAB

Rate increases for all-sized accounts and across all lines of business slowed to 10% in the first quarter, down from 10.7% in Q4, according to recent survey data from the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB).

Pricing rose most sharply for umbrella and cyber liability coverage, which increased by 19.7% and 18%, respectively, in the quarter, according to the trade group.
