Root co-founder Dan Manges is stepping down as the company’s chief technology officer (CTO), in a reshaping of the auto insurer’s top team.

Former Evernote CTO Anirban Kundu will join Root, effective June 21, taking over from Manges, who will remain an employee during a handover period, before becoming an adviser to the company.
