Jersey City-based InsurTech Certificial has raised $5.8mn in Series A funding, with venture group IA Capital serving as the lead investor and additional funding support from Nationwide, Cofounders Capital, Fin VC and Cameron Ventures.

Founded in 2019 by former Acord Solutions CEO Pete Teresi, Certificial aims to bring efficiency to the certification of insurance process.
