USAA has agreed to buy auto InsurTech Noblr, in a move that will help the military families-focused personal lines giant roll out usage-based insurance (UBI) to its 13 million members.

USAA plans to introduce UBI nationwide over the next three years, starting in the eight states where Noblr currently operates: Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.
