Insurer stocks slide on inflation worries

Worries about rising inflation weighed on insurance industry stocks as the broader market dipped Friday.

Everest Re shares led the pack down, giving up 3.8% on the New York Stock Exchange, to $236.21 per share, after Citi analyst Suneet Kamath downgraded the stock to neutral from buy, with a price target of $270.
