The California Fair Plan Association has come out in support of legislation that would allow commercial farms to be insured by the industry-owned insurer of last resort.

The Fair Plan is an insurance pool made up of insurers that write admitted property insurance in California, intended for use by customers who cannot obtain insurance elsewhere.
