AJ Gallagher has announced it was subject to a ransomware attack in September last year, in which the personal details of certain individuals were impacted, including social security numbers, tax numbers and credit card information.

The broker said it detected the attack on its internal systems in September 2020, and took its systems offline as a precautionary measure whilst it initiated response protocols and notified law enforcement.
