Rhode Island governor vetoes auto body insurance legislation

RI Provides Financing For Pawtucket - Central Falls Commuter Rail District

Rhode Island governor Daniel McKee has vetoed a piece of auto body legislation which would add costs that insurers would be required to pay to auto body shops when repairing insured vehicles.

The legislation has been formerly opposed by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA), the national trade association for insurers.
