US M&A deal volume rises by 7.3% in H1: Clyde & Co

A surge in (re)insurance M&A activity in 2020 has carried into 2021, with the number of US deals rising by 7.3% in the first half of the year, according to a new report by law firm Clyde & Co, though deal volume globally dipped slightly.

Global M&A activity in the first half of 2021 fell modestly to 197 completed deals, compared with the 201 completed in H1 2020.
