Inflation rise eases in August

Inflation rose in August by the slowest rate in seven months, a sign that some of the pressure on prices may be easing.

Prices rose 0.3% last month, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) said on Tuesday.

That was down from a 0.5%
