Old Republic taps long-time Zurich exec Romano for senior post

Old Republic has hired Veronica Romano as senior vice president of underwriting and distribution for its General Insurance Group (ORGIG).

Romano will join the company on September 27, out of the Chicago office.

Before joining Old Republic, she served an 18-year tenure at Zurich, where she held various leadership roles within underwriting, business development and distribution.
