AJ Gallagher has struck a deal to acquire Taupo, New Zealand-based Matt Jensen Insurance Brokers to expand its operations across small and mid-sized businesses north of the island.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Matt Jensen has offered fire and general and life and health insurance solutions with a focus on the forestry and transportation industries since 2005.
