In a move that reflects the changing nature of the workforce, Allstate said on Monday it has reached a deal to sell its headquarters campus in Northbrook, Illinois, for $232mn to an affiliate of Dermody Properties.

The sale, which encompasses two million square feet of office space and 232 acres of property, is expected to close in 2022.
